Inara walks into the kitchen, her hands on her hips as she stares at her husband, trying to force the words to come out.

"I just need to say something, okay? And then I'll be done with it and we can move on and talk about anything else, okay?"

Inara sweeps her hair over her shoulder and yawns before looking at Mal, asleep beside her. It's a lazy start to the morning, and as she takes in her husband's features, she finds that she doesn't really mind.
