So two weeks have gone. I've made it to Orissa in the north east just under kolcata. It's stoopendously hot here although i've been quite lucky and it has been cloudy some mornings. Right i've been travelling for about 50 hours but i've reached Hampi and it's lovely. Spent only 5 hours in mumbai waiting for my bus out of there but it was hella busy. Not very nice. so I'm basically all packed for india. Getting a coach at half six tomorrow morning to take me down to london. Then my flight is at 10pm from heathrow and i get into mumbai about midday their time and i'm planning to just get a train straight out of there so it will probably be about a day and a half of travelling. I went to an open mic night last night. It's a new one starting in 3 tuns. Strictly no covers which made it quite interesting. Pretty small crowd that were all very nice about making lots of noise when you stopped playing so you got the sensation of performing while at the same time knowing noone gave a shit when you screwed up. I got a new drum!!! it's so cool! it's a big red djembe and it's loud and goes BOOM the way good drums should. YEY!
I don't like the cold. Doesn't do my back any good. The only good thing about this season is food. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm fooooood. mince pies rock!

Unfortunately it does feel like winter. the clocks have changed, it's dark all the time and everyone and me is moaning about it being cold. wouldn't it be nice if the only reason it had to be this cold/dark/miserable was so that when it is nice in the summer we'd appreciate it more. but why do we have to suffer this when there's so many parts of ( Read more... )
