So it's like this.  I'm in the process of writing a horribly cheesy romance set in First Age Valinor.

Do I publish it or not?

There's a good chance it will be ripped to shreds and there may be reason for it.

I'll have to think about it.

Instead of ranting on this journal, I'm going to use it for stories.  You know.  The horrible, cheesy sort. 

The tide of inspiration so abundant last week has ebbed, leaving me and all the other sea creatures high and dry.

Saturday June 23 is Give It Away day in Ottawa, Canada.

There's been junk sitting in my basement for well over a year (an old set of stoage shelves for shoes, a toddler's paddle pool, various and assorted other junk, all in good condition).  I dragged it to the curb at 9:14 in the morning.  It's an hour later and almost all of it is gone.

My husband's handwriting is horrific.

Don't get me wrong. Mine won't win any penmanship contests, but his is particularly atrocious.

I once brought home pork chops when he wanted Kleenex. I swear it looked like pork chops...when I squinted and held it to the light in a certain way after turning around three times widdershins.

Most people have trains of thought.

I'm not that sophisticated.

All I have is a handcart and even that is constantly being derailed.

Ok.  So.  If you were going to kidnap someone from a busy commercial setting, would you set up a mysterious shop and only allow one customer into it?  Or would you set up a busy, vibrant place that attracted a lot of customers and confusion which would make a couple of workmen leaving with a large package rather unremarkable?
