Four points among registered voters. Among likely voters, it's ten. 'Course, figures can fool and fools can figure. I expect the polls will run the gamut of possibilities from now until election day. They're pretty much meaningless now. A week before the election will be much more interesting to see.
We're opposites! I find it funny that I know how I would vote in your election, but I have no idea how I will vote in the upcoming Canadian election. I'm in the awkward position of being right on some issues and left on others and not liking any of my country's major parties. We've just started the election-talk and our election will be over with before yours is. While we have less time to think, we'll have a lot less drama so I guess that's a plus?
Yeah, the drawback of having a chief executive who has a great deal of power and who is more or less directly elected by the people, is that it causes a great deal of ruckus every four years.
That poll, though, doesn't seem to be wholly accurate on the actual positions. Some of the possible choices seem a bit... off when compared to the candidates' actual platforms.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I figured I'd choose the closest option for each one. I do have to wonder, though: on which question did I agree with Obama? Considering that I am as opposite to Obama on the vast majority of positions as it is possible to be, I am curious what is the one small area on which we agree? Hm.

Okay. *reads actual story* Four points. Still. Hardly underdog status here.
