Well, my man Johnny Mac did not win. My heartfelt congratulations go out to President-elect Obama and his supporters, especially those on my flist. I Voted!
At 7:45 AM MST, I was person number 50 to cast my ballot in my voting precinct today. My polling place happens to host two precincts. One had a long line with about an hour wait. The other, you could walk right in and vote. I was lucky enough to be in the latter precinct and not the former. When I left, the other precinct was already at 500 votes ( Read more... ) -

Seven Years
I think it is both good and right for us to take time to remember the events of 9/11 on this day, seven years later. The almost three-thousand people who died deserved to be memorialized and remembered. I think we do not remember often enough.
