Clothes not to battle plumbing in

At the urging of Anne (and I always do whatever Anne says; just ask her about the lettuce), I went shopping for ball gowns at the Herberger's sale last night. I'm kinda waiting for buyer's remorse to set in now, although how one can be properly remorseful over such cheap clothes I'm not sure ( Read more... )

Yes, but I was saving the flourescent tie-died jumpsuit for Wiscon...

Now THAT is something I'll certainly never wear in public. I'm not even sure why I still have it.

I'd like to see her wear it to the monthly geek gathering that is Net-People someday. She and I could be the King and Queen of Why-Are-You-Wearing-That-HERE? /B-}

Of course, I'd like to see her wearing things like that anytime, but that's another matter. /B-)

Sleeveless short dresses are very practical for dancing. And the Ball won't be in public, it is a private event where you can expect to know 95% of the people attending. I'll have to be sure and get my registration in :).

Yeah, well, it was actually the swishiness of the skirts (and the rattle of the beads on one) that pushed me over the edge into buying them. "Fun to dance in" over rides common sense a lot of the time.

And yes, you should get your registration in, otherwise how will I dance with you?
