I made it through Sandy with power intact. Which was lovely. I've been home from work for three days, which is kind of nice, but also boring and annoying. Limited subway service tomorrow, supplemented by shuttle bus service into city from Brooklyn. It is going to be utterly miserable to get there and back. But, there's a lot of shit I need to get

So glad you're okay, hun. We made it through here just fine, though we did lose power for a while.

HOORAY! I'm glad that I've seen you doing things on Facebook, because otherwise I would have been super worried. We had a couple flickers on Monday but never actually lost power, which was good (it's hard enough to keep a toddler cooped all day when you're able to entertain him with TV).

Thats good news , we only lost power for a bout two minutes and internet for about 10 hours
