SQUEE!! What day will you be at KCRF??? I want to make sure I'm there to meet you all!! I was getting ready to e-mail Laz about her arrival- but I'm sure it coincides with Y'alls arrival!

the plan is for mass Invasion next weekend, which is why I kept my spending down to a minimum so I can afford gas and my ticket in. And yes, Laz is set to arrive about the same time or a little sooner than I friday night. Or at least thats the plan...

Ah the unescapable ennui about cons. I think it is plaguing all of us. Where has the thrill gone? The excitement? I just don't know.

Maybe we're getting older and wiser. Maybe we need a new con format?

Do we fall into ruts in our conduct at cons? (don't go there dirty minded man!) I mean repetitive behaviors that bore after a while?

Are you goin to be at ICC?

Agreed. Don't get me wrong; I love cons, and go so infrequently that they're a real treat. (Case in point; this is the first con I've attended in two years.) Still, for me, they're fun geek-hangout places where I can visit old friends and make new ones, and that's about it; I don't enjoy playing games at cons, and have limited enjoyment of panels. More than a day, and I get overwhelmed. Even just daytripping, I had to sometimes go off by myself and breathe. (Of course, I'm also a capital-I Introvert, so that's a given, I suppose.)
