we've discovered I have early papillary thyroid carcinoma, found a small mass on the thyroid and are probably going to remove some if not all of the gland. We're feeling super cautious about mentioning the C word at all around the house because of what the boys have gone thru. good news is early detection because we've been taking care of my Hashi'

thanks. I have hashimoto's disease which attacks the thyroid gland that we've been treating with hormone replacement. we knew that my condition put me at higher risk & also from what I've read, especially with early detection, it's probably not too bad.

obviously still scary.
