I just found out that MaryAnn Halibozek, a woman I directed in Reckless, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

Terminal.  Brain.  Cancer.

She is tremendously talented, sweet and funny.  I can't imagine what she must be going through.  One thing that made me laugh, and occasionally roll my eyes, about working with her was that she needed constant

While I was posting this, I got an e-mail that she passed away Sunday night.

My condolences.

I know it is tough - but I'm glad she went quickly. It was difficult seeing my friend Roadkill deteriorate after he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Yeah, I just wish I had gotten the chance to see her or talk to her or write to her one more time. Before I heard she had already died, I was deciding if to send flowers would possibly take too long, and if I should just write a letter. I was even feeling thankful that I'd get the chance, and then I didn't get it after all.
