So I've sort of converted to myspace (winces).

I ran a race tonight.  It was a 5k, or in the non-stupid way to say it, 3.1 miles.  It was pretty fun and I did waaaaaaay better than I ever expected!  I haven't been running hardly at all.  Not even once a week... maybe like once every two weeks.  But I ran it in 26 minutes!!  I was sooo pumped about ( Read more... )

So, I'm taking Public Speaking right now during the spring semester...  I'm learning a lot.  Here are some of the interesting things I have learned so far:

1.  I should avoid saying the name "Jesus", but rather, "a power greater than myself".

2.  I shouldn't say church, but I am able to say "my place of worship".

I'm back from the ½ Marathon and it was so fun!  I ran really well for the first 7 miles and then after that I had to walk a little, probably about ½ a mile and then I had to walk another ½ mile in mile 9-10 and then I walked mile 11 and really pumped it on mile 12 until the finish.  And oh boy did my legs hurt when I was finished!  It made me cry ( Read more... )

YAY! Tomorrow is the big day becuase I'm leaving to go to tennessee. I will get to see Josh on Friday and then saturday I will be running that sweet sweet race in Nashville!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO HOO! I can think of several reasons:
1. I can get married faster
2. I will be the first person in my family to get a college degree
3. I will be able to get a good job with good benefits
4. I will be done with schooling.... FOREVER!!!!
