Why is it that in anime and movies in general, my favorite characters are almost always the mentally unstable antagonists? Or...the mentally unstable protagonists ( Read more... )

Yes, Tomo is going to die, because I'm going to kill her. :E

But if Tomo dies, who's going to throw Chiyo-chan's keys into the woods? *grin*

You like Tomo-chan? GYAGH. Why???

Somehow I doubt all your favorite characters fit into this category, but in the case of Tomo-chan, yes, she will die, because everyone I know wants to kill her...

I remember playing the demo of an Azumanga Daiyoh fanware racing game. Tomo had absolutely crap stats in all areas... except attack. This seems amazingly appropriate.

She's just so hilarious! Granted, I've only read the manga, haven't seen the anime yet. Annoying characters tend to be a lot more annoying in anime.

Hehe...yes, Tomo attacks!

To be honest, most of the characters in Azumanga Daioh are hard not to like. I'm not a big fan of the creepy teach (whose name I can never remember), Yomi (unless she's with Tomo), Kaorin (doesn't show up enough), or Kagura (eh...); everyone else though, is freaking great. Sakaki, Chiyo-chan, Tomo, Osaka, Nyamo, and Yukari-sensei. Hilarious together.

I read Azumanga Daioh today. Found it at Border's Bookstore. ^__^ You're right. The subtle humor makes it great.

I also go an anime magazine today that has a big Azumanga poster in it. You want?
