Christmas list
Okay, so despite my attempts at looking modest and non-materialistic, I've gotten numerous requests to reveal what I want for Christmas. Whenever anyone asks me outright my mind decides to shut down as some kind of defensive mechanism, causing me to say something dumb like "uhh... belts?"

Genius in Norway
Wow, I've really let this journal fall to the wayside this month. Sorry about that. Anyway, quick post.

Rad Rambles
Sigh. I'm supposed to be hearing back from the JET Program soon. Two weeks ago, Matt at the consulate said he hoped to be able to offer positions to most of us on the waiting list within a week or so. Last week, I called him up and he said there were still "a few people" ahead of me, but new openings were still coming in.
