Because I know you all are dying to know how my pot pie turned out last night-- it was yummy! There were a few gooey spots on the top crust but not too bad. (Contessa, I did in fact remove the foil tent to brown the top) And the insides of the pie make it all worth it, for those of us (like me and dh) who fondly recall scarfing those small frozen

I'm making a quick pot pie. It's chopped cooked chicken breast, various frozen veggies, "healthier" canned cream of mushroom soup, a touch of evaporated milk and a little cheese, in thawed prepared frozen whole wheat pie shells
