Bike wreck part II
Well my brother is doing alright and is back at home. He was taking a corner on his bike and it slid out from under him, then flipped back up and launched him from his bike. My oldest brother wrecked his motorcycle about an hour ago near HW167 and is in the ER at the moment, that's about all I know right now. -
Results are in.
Got the results of my double-contrast upper GI examination today. It turns out that I have a small Hiatal hernia, which is causing spontaneous gastroesophageal reflux into my distal esophagus. Health Problems.
As many of you have known, I have had problems with severe heartburn/acid reflux for many years now. After about 6 years now things have gotten much worse. At first I would have heartburn every once in a while, about once a weak, that could easily be knocked out by a Tums or two. How the fuck!?!
After being sick with a cold for 2 weeks, and only having a single weekend of not being sick (although it was a good weekend :P), then waking up the next day and being sick again with another cold. 10 minute heater core swap.
1: Remove heater hoses from firewall.
2: Remove 3 screws and cover.
3: Slide out heater core.
4: Slide new core in and reverse steps 2 and 1.
Doesn't get much easier and quicker than that on my 86 Bronco II -
