This is what's been consuming my brain for the past few days. It's my first concert with the Philadelphia Singers/Philadelphia Orchestra, and I'm very excited. We're performing Mahler's 2nd Symphony, which has about 15 minutes of singing total, but it's still very fun and a good way to ease back in. I arrived here yesterday around noon, after 30 minutes of taxi-ing and the most turbulent flight I've had since our college Spring Break trip to FL. Fun thing noticed while listening to iTunes on random - White Stripes "We're Going To Be Friends" and Dar Williams' "The Pointless, Yet Poignant Story of a Co-Ed" start very similarly, although the WS song is in a major key, and Dar's is in minor.
