Things are pretty good, considering I woke up at 6:00 on a Saturday morning and am headed to work in a few. I really, really like living alone about 98% of the nights. Tonight, for some reason... not so much.

I just cried and cried and cried. It was awesome. I've had such an incredibly awesome day, I can't wait to journal about it. Except not now.

Times like this, I wish my phone was more full of people who enjoyed completely random phone calls...

I just beat my brother in mini golf!! This is a big day in our family's history.

I took a mental health day from work yesterday. It was much needed. I relaxed for a while, did some grad school legwork, and then went to the mall, where I saw many pretty things that I could not afford. I left without buying a single thing, not even a snack. WOW. Sometimes I even out rockstar myself. My office chair had been broken (well actually, never entirely assembled) for about 6 months, and tonight I finally put it together! I NAILED the mofo together with my ROCK HAMMER because I had lost a bunch of the screws that fixed it, and also the Allen wrench that inserted said screws. Next home ( Read more... )
