Why does autism hold a special place in your heart?

Joe sounds like a booty call to me... I don't know whether I should insert an unsure or happy or sad face here lol I learned that the hard way this summer, at age 22, finally. If he's texting you about nothing important (i.e. he's really upset for a legitimate reason), like "come hang out; you'd have fun; etc." he just wants you to come "have fun" with him. You want friends and he wants a friend with benefits... just my take on it...

My mom is a special ed teacher, and I have worked in her classroom for a number of years. I worked alongside a child with autism for a summer, and worked as a paraeducator in their summer school classes for a couple of years.

I don't think Joe sees me as just a booty call. I think he legitimetly has feelings for me. I have communicated to him that we are just friends, but I think that he hopes that one day it will be more. Yesterday he texted me about my night, I asked about his night, and he responded in a nut shell that he wanted to go crusing for ladies...

We are friends, and I hope that he can be that for me.... time will tell I suppose

Yea... we'll see, but I really just don't think that a physical attraction can ever come from that... but who knows right? But for now we are just friends, and trust me, I have communicated that to him.
