jkny21 's post reminded me that I've never posted pictures of my new apt! This is my first apt that is all mine, no roommate (well besides 2 husky/malamute mixes that individually weigh more than I do...), and it's still a work in progress, finding art is difficult! But here we go...

When I get stressed out or upset I barely eat, and typically what I can manage down, I’ll see again quite quickly…last week I could understand with the stress of the move and changing everything, but today….I don’t understand. Moving is going well. I've left work early the past 2 days to come home and unpack, and I'm glad I did! As of this evening, everything is in its place, things are organized, and decorations are on the wall. It's coming together. I've never decorated a whole place before, so there are still things I need to get for the walls, but they will all come ( Read more... )

As I unlocked my office door this morning, I seriously had to stop and think if I was here on Friday, because it’s felt like forever since I was here. Boy does if feel like I lived half a life over the weekend!

Friday was spent doing some last moment things at the house and having dinner with Andrew; I can barely even remember the day.

Last night here...of course Andrew isn't here right now, still hasn't fully hit me; I wonder when and if it will.

I began moving things in this afternoon. A good size load in my car; most of my kitchen things and some odds and in. The place is smaller than I remember; but I think with some creativity I can make it work. Plus it's not a forever place ( Read more... )

With the exception of clothes being packed (as that's done either tomorrow evening, or Saturday/Sunday morning depending on ho quickly things progress).... and it's a bittersweet move.
