I used to be really confident, but the last 8 years of work beat the crap out of me... I am sure it will return once I find a job to toss myself into.

I'm glad you have come to terms with and understand your body. You are much happier about it than when we first met. "Swordfighting works for me" should be a weight loss program.

I'm glad you've found your peace on this one, at least when it comes to swords and your personal awesomeness. And you are, personally, awesome.
