I found a Tori-esque singer-songwriter from Sarah Lawrence named Bekah Hayes who captures SL life so spot-on it almost made me a little bit sick. Too close for comfort or something. The SLCers still on my friends list should appreciate these lyrics

Am I the only person, though, who thought that Sarah Lawrence was a great place? It had its limitations and its frustrations and once or twice in a while it drove me crazy. But I said "This place is perfect place for me." the first time I walked on campus and, unlike apparently everybody else, I felt that way the day I left.

Her bio is pretentious (this really intense and unnecessary disavowal of the term "singer-songwriter" and comparisons to people like Tori, which to me only makes her seem more self conscious in that especially Sarah Lawrence-y way that I SO don't miss) and poorly written (which is kind of surprising coming from an SLC alum).

I actually have a question for you, as a Chicago person and one whom (if I recall correctly) has worked some kind of horticultural job. If I was looking to buy a not-cheapskatey wedding present in Chicago, namely a tree or flowering bush of some kind that is currently of manageable size but could be planted on a private property to grow larger, where would you recommend I go and what would you recommend I get? If I'm totally off the mark regarding the things you might or might not know about, do pardon me.
