Not much happening lately. I have been working very hard getting the house in order and it is starting to show. The kids had Spirit Day today, which is the Catholic school version of Field Day. They couldn't have it at their own school because they have no field, so they walked to the high school for it. Last night we went to a party at a friend's house and there was a moon bounce for the kids so Meghan had a blast. All us grown ups hung out eating and drinking and talking while the kids played and got their faces painted.

Well, I had a fun weekend. The downsides were missing skating on Saturday and church on Sunday. But we will deal.

On Friday evening Tony and Meghan got all dressed up and went to the Father/Daughter dance at school. I think they had lots of fun.

The four day holiday was decent. We took advantage of the fact that all three of us were off on Friday and visited the Franklin Institute for a day of fun and education. The main reason for this visit was to see the "One Day in Pompeii" exhibit and we enjoyed it. It is always neat seeing items from antiquity up close. There was a couple ( Read more... )

School stuff: Meghan has been doing really well in school recently and has earned herself a dress down day, which she is taking advantage of today. Her grades are very good and she had been coming home on good behavior every day. The only time she didn't was those two days a few weeks ago when it turned out she wasn't feeling well.
