Another nice weekend. Skating lesson in the morning (lesson went so-so. Everyone seemed off a bit for some reason) and then we tried out a different Mexican restaurant called Las Margaritas that Tony and Meghan had gone to before, but I hadn't. So good. Meghan had a half day on Friday due to faculty meetings so my grandmother came over for a visit. We made sandwiches and hung out and chatted and caught up. She had not been up to see us since November and the last time we did get together was Christmas at my sister's house. Meghan read her library book to us.

Meghan did not win any awards at school on Friday at their mass but her report card is an improvement over the previous one. So that is still an accomplishment and we are very proud of her. She is a good girl.

Dinner at the Irish Center tonight. Very good. I love ham and cabbage. Tomorrow I am making corned beef and cabbage. I am aware that it is not authentic Irish and I don't care. It's good and I never made it myself before.

We skipped skating on Saturday because Tony had to attend a former co worker's funeral. The weather was absolutely gorgeous so I took Meghan to the playground for a bit because she really needed fresh air and so did I, frankly. So she ran around and we played a little badminton.

It has been a lovely weekend. I went to the annual fundraiser at Meghan's school and had a great time drinking and eating and dancing with my friends. The theme was Fat Friday so we all got masks and had our pictures taken in a photo booth and had loads of fun.

Guess who didn't have school today? This is getting ridiculous.

Well, after Meghan finished homework and her secret friend project and after I packed 24 goodie bags for the class Valentine's party, school was called off last night due to the snow. Ugh....
Hopefully they go tomorrow, which is a half day!
This garbage is for the birds.

Guess I won't be making cookies. Someone else got to it but I had no idea. And this why people should do reply all on such emails.
Ugh now I need to figure something else out.
