i saw a squirrel sitting on my tree, eating a strawberry from my garden. One that I was looking forward to eating once it was ripe....grrrrrrr. what a little bitch! it was the first promising strawberry in the bunch and it was half ripe and now...its gone. :( so sad. my new favorite things:

1) America's Test Kitchen....got to love public television.

2) two pans, 8 bucks for the both. from goodwill. best pans i own. who says you have to burn a hole through your wallet for kitchen gear.

i sense a year of good food to come...good thing the boy loves to cook.
