so i made a three layer round cake.. sounds fancy? looks like a big hunk of cow poo patty!
It is devils food cake, which is chocolate, on the bottom and top layer. In the middle is yellow cake, but i used the same mixing bowl and spatula as the chocolate..so it really looks tan/brown/yellow wanna be. And the icing is chocolate. and the layers kind of cracked because i'm way too impatient to ever let a cake just chill until it's ready to be moved..aka.. traumatized, and then iced.
John really really liked it. I thought it was pretty good.
Hmmmm constructivism learning...coulda called me and I coulda told you all kinds of crap that they look for when the question is constructivism. Its actually pretty cool if you have the resources and time to make it work. I've been praying about the job situation.
The Da Vinci Code...quite a good read. I'm almost done with Angels and Demons which is the book that Dan Brown wrote with Robert Langdon as his lead character before Da Vinci Code. Have you seen the movie? They did a decent job but not as incredible as the book.
Still no clue when we will visit. Jason's work schedule is crazy and he's trying to finally finish his nursing degree. It may just have to be Leigh and me after summer school is over. Whatever happens... you will see me before summer is over!
Also you should fill out an application at clubztutoring.com. Thats the $20/hour job I'm hoping to get. Its a worldwide company so I'm sure they are in Houston. I have two friends who have worked for clubz WITHOUT college degrees (but as education majors) so you have a chance because you have a degree. You can also pretty much chose your hours and grade level and subject you want to tutor.
I have no doubt that God has an awesome job for you.
thanks so much for praying for us :) I know that something will work out. I think we are really leaning toward the assisted living marketing job for John because then we'd be close to his parents and houses are cheap. And i'm sure my mom is realllly wanting us to come back to Baton Rouge. But the marketing thing and old people are something that John would really enjoy working around. And I could find something around there to do i'm sure. And it's a lot closer to BR for visits. Buuuut.. i kind of really want to move home too

I'm glad you had fun at Chili's too! What kind of cake are you going to make yourself? Are you going to put cool icing on it?
and Noah...yeah, you know I think he's the best baby alive.
