I just realized that I posted this announcement in the community of other babies born in October, but not here! SO... here we go...

Grace Leila Johnson was born on October 31st at 5:59 pm.
She weighed 8 lb 13 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long.
Full head of dark hair, chubby cheeks, and 2 weeks late.

I went for my 39 week appointment yesterday.  My midwives don't do exams, but when she was palpatating my stomach to feel the baby she said "Wow!  The baby's head is REALLY low!"  So aparently the head is pretty far down in my pelvis, which is why I have been having so much pain and pressure and trouble walking.  Before she had checked the baby we ( Read more... )

So lately my stomach has felt like it's going to just rip open.  My skin is tight and my stomach is really hard all the time.  This baby is DEFINITELY growing right now.  I'm also crazy hungry all the time.  I feel like I eat and an hour later I'm hungry again!  Whew... What exactly is the point of buying a new mattress when you buy a crib used?  I bought a used crib and mattress, and I want to make sure I am not making a mistake not buying a mattress new.
