An offcial Military girlfriend... HELP!

 I'm going to start using this again, too much is going on lately.

I'm going to be a military girlfriend it's looking like. Thomas sprung on me that he is joining the army. I am very proud of him and back him up 100% but it was so sudden and I'm feeling SO overwelmed. It was never something we ever really discussed.. At first when he told me on

Ok I trust you so I'll tell you this, I had a girlfriend for awhile (not the one I wrote about in my lj), her name is Amy and we dated from early September to the end of December/January. She's in the military, and had been to Iraq. Even though we broke up for good, we're still really close, and love each other like friends. She's being sent to Afganistan in December. It was a huge shock to hear it (it still hasn't sunk in), but you being there for him is going to help more than you know. Amy has post-traumatic stress disorder, where she has horrible dreams, and when she drinks she thinks she's in Iraq, and she starts low-crawling & stuff, it's scary. But having me be there for her to talk to and support her helped/helps her more than I'll probably ever know. So that's what you do - you just be there in any way you can. & you can always talk to me, and I can try to help since I've kinda been there in a way. I know you'll be a great support system to him :-) <3

Aw I'm glad it helped, at least a little bit :-) I want to see you soon also!! The next seven weeks are going to be busy with school, but we'll have all summer to get together, my apartment is right in town, and I'll be there all summer too so we can definitely have girls night/days haha, & I'm sure my roommate would love to meet you (I was living in a house, but long story short - didn't work out, I moved out, and now have a place with a different roommate). But I want to see you VERY soon, maybe we can plan a coffee date or something soon! <33
