I am not a boob nazi because I believe that compassion is more needed by pregnant women and new mothers than militarism is (after all, the "nazi" label is a militaristic one, and the metaphor of "boot camp" is as well).

Critical Commentary on Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree made me reflect on the notion of maternal love as sacrifice. (Thanks to ambitious_wench for the link to the critical commentary.)
