i'm so excited about finally starting a career job and still being excited by it 3 weeks later, unlike the last fixed contract one where the excitement wore off immediately to be replaced by the relief of having a wage :) i get to work on things made out of jumbo steel sections, use my 15 years of further education, and i have dr sam on my office ( Read more... )

Yay - here's to jobs you can love! Sorry to hear about the mega fatigue though. Surely it will get better when you get used to it, fingers crossed, it sucks being so tired you miss weekends/life. :(

I'm so glad your enjoying it. The tiredness will I'm sure get better. Are you sure you're still ok to babysit tomorrow we can always cancel/postpone.

definitely - it's still close enough to my weekend of snoozery ;) i'm sure staying up late on friday helped knock me out! i've unravelled the back of the cardigan - i couldnt live with it being wrong *sigh*

Oh no, as you know I know how that feels. I have huge balls of wool that used to be the back of my cardy. They're getting smaller but I really should be working on my essay. Being a perfectist isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I reckon you'll get used to the hard work and you'll feel less tired.

someone at the bank called me by my title and i had to fight to look nonchalant and not to smile. it's so new it squeaks when i turn round fast but it doesnt mean i dont love it :)
