I have reason to believe that my good friend Jasmine from Philippines swears by the adage "patience is a virtue." She waited for 7 years patiently to attend my wedding and meet me in India like Florentino Ariza tolerantly waits his entire life for Fermina Daza’s husband Juvenal Urbino to die in "Love in the Time of Cholera." So he can marry her.

Nice to look at a country I called home for some time through a tourist point of view! I still remember landing in Changi as a young teenager watching in complete bewilderment the maintenance lady mopping the floor. I could already see my own reflection in the tiles! ;)

But go away from the tourist spots and you will see some specks of dirt. After all, if you are caught littering you have to spend some hours cleaning up! ;)

Malaysia and Singapore are completely vegetarian unfriendly!! I thought it would be easier when moving from the States.

So you grew up in Singapore! Cool!
Spending some hours cleaning up the place is the best way to keep it clean I guess.. India should adopt this too..
