My Colonial America professor basically kirked out about my response to one of the worst books I have ever read. Apparently first amendment rights of opinion don't apply in undergrad. Feeling progressively more icky today. An upset stomach and sore throat haven't gotten any better since about noon today. I blame the girl across the hall who has been sick all weekend, and the cleaning ladies who don't come on weekends, and didn't come on labor day. After two and a bit months of some serious doubt, I am pleased to report that I am not pregnant, and am back on anti-babies hormones and such. Going off the pill was perhaps the worst decision I ever made, but it was interesting to re-experience life with it's normal level of hormone ups and downs. Day three of teaching history camp progressed reasonably well. Several of the kids are getting pretty worn out from having us run them up and down hills--which would be great if their parents would let them sleep at a reasonable hour. My professor's basis for assuming I had bought or stolen my paper was the use of the phrases "...from antebellum splendor into and industrialized state of mediocrity," and "... withering to a state of irreparibility."
