Job Interview

Recently I started looking for a new Job. I felt that I wasn't happy working on the Defence project, despite assurances about the humanitarian relief nature of the project. My boss admitted that the humanitarian aspect was basically a front to get people into the project.

How do you mean they were suspicious? As in, they weren't sure if you had the right level of experience or something?

Oh and it could be that they've only offered you a relatively low salary to start with, but once they're satisfied you can do the job they'll give you a raise?

congratulations I wouldn't worry about the pay rise thing - Matt started in september last year and once he had settled in and they were sure he could do the job they gave him a pay rise (in march) plus the quarterly bonuses, although dependent on the amount of work done and extra time spent, are good.

They seemed pretty nice when I met them

Boss is monica and Team Leader is Paul Smart.

It's in Alresford, near Winchester. They're a bespoke systems software consultancy firm.
