I was reading an interesting articled in New Scientist about lucid dreaming. They were saying that (awake) animals that are not sentient only have primary conciousness, that is awareness, where as humans also have secondary conciousness, that is, "being aware of being aware" or putting it another way, the ability to reflect on oneself. We went to "The Late Shows" 2 weekends ago. It was on Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th. On the Friday it was just me, Bon, Chris and "Matt" (real name unknown). Great... we have been robbed. It was all console gaming stuff, Bons DS lite, the Wii, all our Wii games (about 40ish perhaps), 4 Wiimotes, 3 nunchucks, 2 classic controllers, balance board, and most annoyingly all the games and Rock Band songs we have downloaded to the Wii itself (and filled 4 gig memory card). Comes to about £1000 we reckon. ( Read more... )

Oh yeah, I forgot to say.. I just got a raise. Hurray! Its not loads but it's good to have recognition. Actually come to think about it, this is the first raise I've ever had from ANY job. Thats cool.

Well that was an ace weekend just gone. It was St. Georges Day on Friday, and someone was complaining to Bon at her work that nobody ever celebrates it but that everyone always celebrates St. Patricks. Well the last 2 years we have celebrated St. Patricks so we sort of took that as a challenge and on Saturday we celebrated all things English. Mr ( Read more... )

At work we write dates in the form DD-MON-YY, this means that for the past month I have been writing the word XX-MAR-IO all over my documents which amuses me no end. Sadly today this shall pass, so I shed a small tear for mario as we pass into the month of aprio.
