That is an exciting, optimistic view of life - I've been feeling all of that for awhile but never knew how to put it.

Also, we've got a strange business we attend to. Insurance deals with having to think of worst case scenarios all the time, we've been smacking mortality/morbidity in the face 8 hours a day ever since we started. We have to be professional to the companies and personal & sensitive to our customers. It's not so dramatic, I would be explaining insurance to a customer, then hanging up the phone and making farting noises, so it was never that bad. Look at Ken, he really knows how to be a kid in a grownup's world.

rather than being emb. at having been in the field for only 6 months, i would act like it's felt like forever and you can't wait to get out of it. that'll turn the tide because then they'll feel like crap because they've got so many dumb obligations like families and bills and don't have the freedom to just go do anything they want anymore.
