I'm an idiot. I thought I lost my wallet. I didn't. I missed my flight. There are no flights on any airlines today from any of the local airports. They are all oversold. I will be returning tomorrow. I'm sort of glad. Being back in Baltimore has been so great. I love seeing all my friends and it was a really fun time. But everyone asks ( Read more... )

Yeah, I agree. If you're out on the west-coast for a reason (aka a hunky asian stoner), you should be as close to said reason as possible.

There are so many what-ifs attached to the thought of moving to San Diego. For example: what if he or I decide to go to grad school somewhere else? Then I will have moved for a very short amount of time before moving again. What if he or I decide to go to school up north? Then I'd be either moving away from him or just following him all around the damn state. What if I can't find a job down in SD? Where would I find a roommate? Plus, as long as I live up here, I'm sort of doing my own thing. Yes, I have moved two thousand miles to be close to this person, but for some reason, moving 112 miles closer to him is scary. I would feel like I'm just chasing him around, not really doing anything for my own life. Like how dustin hoffman moves to Berkeley and basically becomes a stalker in The Graduate. i wish I could just decide what my goal is as far as a job, then I could figure out how to achieve that goal while also being in close proximity to him. Very complicated. What if I decided to go back east? would you follow me, dave ( ... )
