[Raven isn't at all certain how she feels at the moment, standing near the garden door with her hair up in a dress she'd spent half of her remaining money on and a mask that makes her nose itch.

She hopes someone she knows will actually be at the party.]

[Dean had spotted the mask on the short man before he'd seen the person behind it. When he realised who it was wearing that really creepy looking mask, he'd sighed, heavily, and headed over with a drink for himself and another for Gabriel. He was sure the guy was having a rough time, being human. He'd seen Castiel go through the same mess, after all, and it wasn't particularly nice to watch.]

You couldn't find any blood to paint that mask of yours with? You know, go the whole nine yards on the creepy factor? [He hands over the drink in his left hand and transfers the one from his broken arm over.] You sure it's a good idea, being out here, where you're a target?

[Gabriel rolls his eyes as soon as the Winchester bee-lines for him. He honestly wasn't trying to attract attention. Well... maybe. He wasn't very good at not attracting attention, because he liked being the centre of it. The mask was really part of that, subconsciously.]

Didn't have any spare. [But he takes the glass gratefully. He's not had any yet, although he wanted to. He doesn't quite trust himself, or the body he's trapped in without his Grace to keep him safe. And yet, as Deano points out, he's here. He just can't stay away. There's something about people. And now he has to learn how to be one] Besides, it's a masquerade. You know the stories, right? Everyone wears a mask so no one knows who Death is. Aren't plague traditions fun?

No one but you has recognised me yet. Besides, I needed to come see a lady about a birthday.

[Dean laughs almost a bit too tensely and shakes his head a bit.] Yeah, those stories don't really mean much when you've had a few face to face talks with the big guy himself. Dude still freaks me out when he just stares.

[He shudders a bit. Death is one being that well and truly scared the living crap out of him.] You know the birthday girl, then, huh?

[ Erika would be proud of her. Or at least she hoped she would-- when Tsubomi had received her invitation she had set to work to make a dress for herself, but only after flailing about for a good hour or so about being invited to such an important event. Spending up until the night before working on the dress the teenager had put together a simple but fitting dress that suited her perfectly. And with money she had earned from the lower shop she was able to find a necklace to go with her dress as well as a mask.

And now here she was, falling into the role of a wallflower as she hovers by the nearest window, as she wonders what she's supposed to do. Maybe she could visit the gardens...?

It really was times like these where she missed the girls back home. ]

[ One of the reasons he originally didn't take charge of ENCOM, prior to the events on the Grid? These suit and tie parties weren't his style. Give him jeans and jacket any day-- hell, even the suit he wore on the Grid was fine. At least he could move around easily in that. But not a tuxedo. He drew the line at tuxedos. So it was hard but he managed to find something to work as a compromise. It didn't stop him from feeling dumb about wearing a mask though. ]

Heck, I'm surprised at myself. Guess I thought I'd try something other than staying up at the arcade.

[ Fortunately for her, when Heartshaven had been brought to this place, they had been kind enough to include her wardrobe. While it was the wardrobe belonging to her first incarnation she was still able to find a dress that was to her liking and would work well enough for the party. The eye mask she would be spotted wearing was also another item found in her home having belonged to her mother.

The Time Lady, for the most part, is simply walking about the festivities and will at one point be found wandering through the gardens if anyone were to run into her in either location. ]

[Karolina stands at the table, looking over the different food and drink available. She glances off to the side, looking to the woman in the lovely blue dress.] Um, excuse me, do you know if any of the beverages are alcohol-free?

[Her own dress and mask are relatively simple. Silver, to reflect the colors coming off Karolina in waves. If someone asks, she'll power down, but she's comfortable with how she looks in this city. She doesn't have to hide who she is.]

[ It doesn't bother Romana at all. In fact she hardly bats an eye because honestly, she's seen more than enough alien races to accept the fact that the unusual is perfectly normal. The Gallifreyan offered Karolina a small smile. ]

If there are I have yet to find them. Alcohol isn't much to my liking.
