From what I've seen, it's fairly normal. The specific parameters of how it happens are uncertain thus far, but several people have had buildings from their homes arrive.

And they just.. show up overnight like this?

[cigarboss]

It seems to take several weeks after a person's arrival, but yes. I've been collecting data for a while now.

[perfectscores]

[ Gohan's not even sure how to respond to that. Not because he's surprised, just... startled, he supposes. Grateful that the Lookout is here, but still a bit confused as to the why. ]

... Do... people show up along with the buildings?

[cigarboss]

Not to my knowledge. So far the pattern is that approximately two weeks after a person arrives in the city, sometimes a building they have a personal connection with from their own universe appears, identical to the very tiniest detail.

It's been three weeks since I got here though...

[ But of course, his circumstances were a bit different. Maybe the week where everything was practically a warzone didn't count. ]

Hm, three weeks ago Mandalus was still embroiled in its war. I'd assume the System took some time to catch up.

That makes sense.

... My name's Gohan, by the way. [ He keeps forgetting to introduce himself. ] Nice to meet you.

[Boss never introduces herself if she can help it, if that makes Gohan feel any better.]

[ The Boss? Well, that was... a strange name. But then again, his own name meant "Lunch", so... ]

Are all the buildings here actually from other worlds? Or did this city start out with its own buildings?

[cigarboss]

The city contains both original buildings and ours, I'd wager. The natives don't seem too fond of us intruding.

Yeah, I've noticed that..

[ He's gotten quite a few nasty looks from some passerbys. ]

[cigarboss]

I imagine it has something to do with the war we've seemingly brought upon the city.

[perfectscores]

I thought the war was already ongoing.

[cigarboss]

It was when I arrived, but from what I can tell, it had not quite started when the first of our group was brought to Mandalus.

... So, wait. How long has it been since the System has been bringing people to this place?
