I feel bad not voting for the woman or African-American but I really do think he'd have been the best candidate. Man if we had realized this sooner we could have totally used our cute to his advantage, 20-somethings for Edwards! We could have made shirts and made our own banners. Oh well, next time! :)
I thought you could request a ballot no matter what you were registered as. And I may be non-partisan, I'm not sure, it's that or Libertarian, I never vote Libertarian though...
I hate that they get rewarded with all this attention. If they kiss and make up so they can run together I'm gonna heave.
Todd-a-like or not, I recommend Obama. He seems to be all about what we as a nation CAN do as opposed to pointing out all the reasons why we can't. And I'm also tired of this trend toward "dynasty" Presidencies (Bush, Bush Jr. / Clinton I, Clinton II??)
I'm trying to carve out time for a more detailed election run-down/soapboxpost, but there's my prez-pick in a nutshell..

I don't suppose you have any information on the twelve (???!!!???) Libertarian candidates on the California ballot, do you? (I'm just curious, since aside from looking up their names just now, I haven't a clue about your party's doings!)

Nope, no idea. I don't really follow their politics, I just believe in their agenda and platform.
On a non-political note I have a funny story for you... I'm on the cruise and I meet this cute guy and we're kinda chatting hockey and then he says "Really, I don't know hockey at all, but I know you haven't seen it right until you've seen it from the Kodak Suite!" I said "Um, I have seen it from the Kodak Suite!". Turns out his Dad has worked for Kodak for years. One of the many coincidences with this guy that almost makes my cynical self believe in fate ;)
God, how long ago was that anyway? 4 years? Wow...
I think I'm going for Obama now. I didn't have issues with his issues, just didn't want to reward one of the sniping candidates. Now I can cross my fingers for an Obama/Edwards ticket!

They'd probably stop bitching and sniping if it wasn't what got them sound bites on the evening news...
