Figure Skating RPS/ Stargate Atlantis (Crossover, Stéphane/ Johnny, PG-13)
Author's Notes: 2530 words. Inspired by
this picture here and much flailing in the comments about how Atlantis would love Stéphane Lambiel (because everyone does). Also, inspired by something
aurora_84 said to me in the same post.

Stéphane in Atlantis!! You wrote Stéphane in Atlantis, interacting with Rodney and John and Teyla and Ronon and Woolsey! The spinning jumper! The Athosian children! Atlantis' ice rink!! Johnny's email. *FLAILS FOR A WHILE LONGER*
When they met he told Stéphane he knew nothing about figure skating. "Don't take it personally," he said. "I don't like hockey either."
Stéphane shrugged. “Neither do I.”
“Well, maybe we’ll get along after all,” the Colonel said, smirking at McKay.
Heeeee! I can only imagine Rodney's outraged face. *grins like a loon*
McKay actually blushes. “Um,” he says. And he appears suddenly engrossed in his laptop.
“You think I’m pretty?” Stéphane says, grinning.
HAAAA, RODNEY. ONE WOULD HAVE TO BE BLIND TO DENY STEPHANE'S PRETTINESS! :D
The spaceship flips. Stéphane takes his hands off the console instinctively. “Did I do that?” he says. I love this callback to the pilot, I love it ( ... )

I was so pleased with how fast I wrote this. I feel like I never just sit down and write anymore. And this just came out. It was so cool. And I had a lot of fun. It should totally happen more often.
It was mostly what you said about Atlantis just giving Stephane a rink because Stephane was a sad puppy. And then I had this idea that Rodney would suddenly call up Stephane and say, "um, I think you should see this..." And there it is!
And you gave me a lemur! So I had to post. Thank you!
Johnny standing in the middle of the rink, in Atlantis, in an completely different galaxy, with this baffled look on his face (that he's trying very hard to conceal). And Stéphane grinning at him.
Ah ha ha! Yeah, that totally happens next. And then Atlantis plays some make out music. *g*

Heeeee, I'm so glad to hear this! You deserve as much writing inspiration as possible.

YOU KNOW IT WOULD HAPPEN EXACTLY LIKE THAT. :D
And you gave me a lemur! So I had to post. Thank you!
I promise I wasn't trying to push you or anything. LJ just gave me lemurs and I decided to share.
And then Atlantis plays some make out music. *g*
Subtle, she is not!

I can totally be bribed by lemurs.
I must say, the "Johnny ends up on Atlantis" sequel is very alluring. I've never written a sequel to ANY of my 100 or so (probably more) fics so I'm not expecting it to happen. It's fun thinking about though...

I love this SO MUCH! Stéphane in Atlantis is such a genius idea, and you've written something wonderful and a little whimsical, and a little bit heartbreaking.
Atlantis loves Stéphane, of course she does! And Rodney follows him around! And Stéphane not being able to skate, then Atlantis making a rink for him, oh my goodness. I love that he finds the words for Johnny in the end, and \o/ JOHNNY ON ATLANTIS? YES PLEASE. She'll make it happen. I have faith. ;___;

Oh, yeah, she's a total zebraswan shipper. She'll invent an inter galactic transporter beam and beam Johnny into Atlantis. That's my canon and I'm sticking to it. *g*
So glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reading. :)

Love the way you integrated him into SGA. I think even John's hair would have competition.
Fabulous!

Aw, now you've made me regret not having made a hair joke.

“Atlantis sure likes them dumb and pretty.”
Ahah, oh Rodney!

Atlantis is also a mad skater fan! She wants an ice show. *g*
Thanks so much for reading!

I love your lonely, strong, self-aware Stéphane.

No one is more surprised than me! I'm all, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??? At first it was all about Johnny Weir, but now I have all these other skaters I love - and I keep discovering more! And I'm going to Skate Canada! It's out of control!
Anyway, thanks for reading. Crossovers are great fun - I was happy to write it. And really glad you liked it.
