The long and the short: Matt is feeling much better, thanks mostly to himself and his own research. My job is driving me crazy and I'm searching for a new one. I'm also on a waiting list for a culinary school in Seattle. My animal are staying generally healthy. Family is good. That's about it.

I was walking through Lowe's Hardware this afternoon and ended up in the lumber section. I caught a strong smell of cedar and that alone was enough to make my day. The smell triggered memories of Fair this last year.  All my stuff is finally moved into the new apartment at Keeler's Corner. Despite it only being two blocks away, the move was a painful one. Matt and I chose to go slow and not rent a moving truck. This is ridiculous.

My car is still desperately trying to die, despite my putting in coolant and 1-2 quarts of oil every few days. It bucks when I try to accelerate and chugs like it may conk out when I'm stopped at a light.
