Catholic Vampires

Aug 09, 2005 02:26

I am a scientist and a cannibal. I'm just interpreting the facts and eating corpses (respectively). If you disagree with what I have to say, thats your problem. Don't go complaining that I'm a "Bad Person" or a "Dick" or a "Beaver Hugging Japanese 'tax-payer' who eats people". I have feelings too.

But anyways, I thought I'd share my finding on why ( Read more... )

Well then, that proves it. Catholics are not only cannibals, but they are eating the son of God, no less. Which means, either cannibalism isn't a bad thing, or all the catholics are wrong.

=O

You're really up on your research man...kudos.

I don't think I have anything else to say...or rather, if I said what I was thinking, most people reading this would hate me.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

We live in America. God bless the first amendment. I encourage that you all speak your mind in these comments, even if you disagree with me. I enjoy feedback of whatever nature.

Actually, I wasn't gonna disagree with you though, I was gonna agree with you in a radical way...thus people being pissed at me.

Anywho...if you were a cannibal but didn't hold to catholic beliefs, would that make you bad?

Thats a very good question. Ever since the separation of church and state, the word "bad" has undergone a significant transformation. "Bad" was originally defined as "Evil or Sinful". Today, it is defined as "Undesirable". You may see it as two completely different meanings, but really it is a fantastic example of how the world has changed for the "worse" (define this word as you desire). Society before the death of God worried about what was ethical and right. Today, society is primarily concerned with looks and what feels good. "Yesterday, a soldier held captive in Iraq for three months was forced to eat one of his fallen allies in order to stay alive. He is a bad human being." Aside from the lack of writing skills and the bluntness in general, I would not be surprised if I saw this in a newspaper sometime this decade ( ... )

First off, LOL that's a really funny way too look at it.

Second, I'm impressed by all the research you're doing. You probably know more about Catholicism than I do, and I go to a Catholic church (except the last time I went was Christmas 2 years ago, I went to Pearce for last Christmas lol). It's like they expected me to know all the stuff, but I didn't, and I was always lost.

Anyways, everyone has their own way of looking at things, and we should be open to new ideas. Mr. Cannibal here isn't saying we have to agree with him. Like he said, "I am presenting evidence, I am not picking on anyone."

I have to commend your way of looking at things. You can walk into something completely neglected by society and, while you may disagree, give it a thought. I hope everyone can give passive cannibalism a second consideration. If you disagree with it, thats perfectly fine. I'd be happy if you at least learned something out of this.
