So, while Dreamhost is being a dirty ho and not loading my images, let us tackle a couple of other posts instead!

First things first-

The Big "omgz u gaiz rok" or "omgz u suk gtfo" (or alternatively "feedback") Post

The contest is over! ( in case you did not notice - there are also some spiffy new banners for you to pick up)

These battle communities are pretty new - tartankilts had this spiffy new idea and then all of a sudden everyone went YAY! BATTLE COMMUNITIES! ...myself included.

But THEN we went "oh fux how does this work - o shi - OW MY TOE" while fumbling in the dark. It's hard to tell what a good, efficient way of earning or losing points is - and this community in particular, with its mental mods, had all of these crazy challenges that changed every week and I sat here and prayed really hard that they would work.

They kinda worked I hope!

But hey, what do I know.

Therefore, dearest people: feedback! Please!

Some stuff you can tell us:

Some people have complained about the reading intensive-ness of each challenge - were they very very confusing for you? How do you think we can improve? Would you rather have one fixed challenge format and only small changes every round, or do you like the complete and total random-ness of the challenges?

Do you think the points system was fair? Unfair? How do you think it could improve, if you didn't like it? Should we once again jump the tartankilts bandwagon and attempt something not-solely-points, or do you like it with points?

What do you think of the crits system? We get a lot more votes when they're not mandatory, it seems - should they always be optional from now on? Should they remain mandatory? One thing to think about: More than once, a person had the wrong icon number and they only realized this because the crit didn't match. Is having no crits worth risking wrong icon numbers?

Some challenges allowed more than one icon. Did you like this? Would you like more challenges with multiple submissions, or do you prefer to stick to one?

Some challenges had side battles - optional in one, obligatory in the other. Did you like this? Would you like more rounds like these? Do you think these things should be SOLELY optional?

Some challenges had items - always optional. Did you like this random item system? Would you rather have a fixed item system instead (i.e. an item shop where you can "buy" items)?

neonclover made retarded bonus rounds. Did you like them? Would you like more bonus rounds in the future? Should bonus rounds always be completely retarded?

We had perfectly serious and perfectly stupid rounds. Which did you prefer? The serious? The stupid?

Which round was your favorite? Least favorite? Were any challenges really difficult?

Are there any rounds you'd like to see again?

Does our new layout make your eyes bleed?

Does neonclover ask too many questions?

THE OPTIONS ARE ENDLESS. Please let us know what you thought of the first challenge, so we can improve this contest for the next challenge! If you have any suggestions or criticism, they're all welcome!

If anyone makes super interesting suggestions I'll open up new posts for people to give opinions. :3b

Edit: Uhhh I'm retarded and forgot to disable comment screening - er, I think I'll keep them screened for now since they are of the huge and I don't want to break anyone's browser. Once comments stop coming in I'll unscreen everything and collect all opinions and we can all be YAY or BOO at them. \o/
