Man, I am just in a really bad mood. That does not happen that often these days, but sometimes, one of those days comes along.

And I'm not a kid anymore. There just ain't anyone to cheer you up sometimes. Finding some solace the best way I know how.

I show a documentary on suicide in Psychology, and I find it quite powerful. I find it to be a film that makes me appreciate life more than most any film I have ever seen. It resonates with me ( Read more... )

Very nice evening tonight. Was out with an old buddy from college and our mutual friend: a kind, intelligent woman. We had not seen each other in quite some time, and she had a few compliments for me. They were good to hear. Sometimes, it is nice to be comforted.

Strolling the calm, peaceful city streets at night is one of my favorites. When you remind yourself that you're in one of the largest cities in the nation, but at 5am, it is a ghost town. Trees are still, streets are empty. And it all feels like it is yours and yours alone ( Read more... )
