is it just me, or did this march break fly by far too quickly? i almost feel like it's hasn't even begun yet.

from sunday to tuesday i did the university trek, visiting ottawa (carleton) and kingston (queen's). then the rest of the break was filled with seeing friends, attempting (and failing) to do homework, and lazing around.

from the outside its very traditional, prestigious campus looking (you feel like you're at yale or harvard or at some prep school a bit) -- think beautiful big limestone buildings, some that look kind of castle-y, lots of school colours/banners/crests, enclosed campus (as in not intergrated into the city, though kingston is only a ten min walk away), one of the cafeterias has the long wooden tables to eat at, etc. of course, the uc and whatnot remind you of any other schools (very updated, full of tim hortons/starbucks, lotsa student activity, clubs and events advertised, campus pub and stores, etc). then the residences are quite nice and seem a bit less run-down than some of the others i've seen

what I don't understand is how you practive Improv, considering I thought "Improv" was short for "Improvisation" meaning on-the-spot sort of thing.
