I'm now over myself. There's nothing I can do to control whether or not I'll have to move to Chicago, or when I'll need a transplant. I'm just going to live my life drama-free and happy :-)

There's no use in being mad about anything, really. I'm done. It's not worth caring about.

I'm super upset today, but just this afternoon. I'll go out to dinner and I'll go dancing and I'll be fine. I'm just pissed how a friend treated me. I - for the record - didn't do anything to her except for trying to explain things today. She blocks me on AIM?? Huh ( Read more... )

I haven't been here in so long they changed the format... it's been almost 5 months since I last posted... and I've gotten out of the hospital, gone back in, and gotten out again in that 5 months.

October seems like forever ago - I was still a student.

I'm really bored and just decided to update a little.

Today has been a day from hell. My PFTs were worse. I have a cold/flu/thing. I am on a steriod that makes me moody (the last thing I need, lol) and shoots my blood sugar to hell. My blood sugars are all fucked up. No doctor will listen to me. The pediatric resident is quite possibly one of the meanest doctors I have ever dealt with ( Read more... )

It's almost nearly official: I am diabetic. If they decide I am not diabetic, it will mean I am very nearly diabetic, and it's just a matter of short time until I am diabetic. How fair is this? one of the drugs they are giving me four times a day for two hours at a time (oh yeah, 8 hours of my day) shuts down my brain. i stop thinking clearly, my eyes dialate, my limbs go numb, and eventually i pass out and sleep until the med wears off - many hours later. nothing can wake me up. the doctors don't seem too concerned about this. i am ( Read more... )

I am living in a bubble. This is my new favorite entry for my book. The good thing about this hospitalization is i have realized I need to finish my book. I don't want to get too sick to work on it.
