Holy crap! We had the aftermath of Hurrican Ivan back in 2004 (that's Katrina as far north as Pennsylvania) and we had SHIT TO DEAL WITH. Our basement and furnace was flooded. It was gorss, frightening and awful. I so realted to your post the other day about dropping Gia off at school or NOT b/c there was no electricity or a/c. (I think you made the right choice taking her home). It freaks me out when the infrastructure fucks up!). Srsly.

We just never expect anything like this here in Phoenix. I haven't seen anything thing this bad ever! It's so weird...and so unexpected!

Wow, looks like a little hurricane blew through! Love all the palm trees there! All we have here are pine trees.

It really does look like that. On the streets, you see a lot of people's roof parts littering the road.
