Today was/is my birthday. I was really busy, though. I don't feel 18. I got an electric bass and it's so cool. My fingertips are calloused (but not noticeably so) from playing guitar and now bass. I also got some money, which I'll probably spend on bike stuff. I love riding bikes, but I really wish I had somebody to ride with... any takers? ( ( Read more... )

So, yesterday when it rained, my friend (who happened to be at my house) and I started riding out bikes. Our soaked shirts got in our way, so we decided to just take them off (btw, my friend was unfortunately not a girl :) Anyway, we rode all over the place, including bicycle world, but they were closed. Well. I'm leaving for Alaska tomorrow, where I hope to move in with a family of meeses. I'll be gone 'till the 29th.

I helped some people today in Chemistry. It felt good to help people. I'm going to my best friend's house today and spending the night because it's his birthday. His gift is super cool. He'll like it a lot. I wonder what would happen if i set the date of my entry a few days in advance. I might try it sometime.

Maybe not. I'm so weird. What if I wasn't human- I have so many oddities about me that are, well, odd.

The weirdest question I got today was: "Matty? Do you think someone flirtatious would be considered a slut?"

Gosh, it would be really cool to have a Mac- G5 to be specific. I can imagine it now, dual 2.7GHz processors, 8GB of ram, 250GB hard drive (at least), and of course, dual screen. Then I would have FCP HD, Aftereffects, and oh, it would be wonderful. Also, I could get a mini dv camera. Mmmmmmmm.

Gosh, that dream would be really expensive.

the answer, of course, is very simple

in the next few years, we'll look back, and realize how stupid we are now. Maybe even an hour from now I will look back and say to myself, wow, I used to be so very stupid, and then laugh, only to look back another hour later and say how stupid i was then.

Hmm. I think I can be kind of bossy at times. I've got to try to stop that. DDR is cool- I wish I had a PS@ so I could play it. I want to get a summer job, but I'm not sure where. Ideally, I'd like to work at Bicycle World, but I don't know. I think I'd have fun working there ( Read more... )
