So I have spoken to a lot of people lately and I have spoken to my first graders and I've come to realize something...people are overly crazy about jobs and money. People would rather have a job that pays them $2,000 more a year and completely hate their job and totally dread going to work everyday than make a little bit less and love their job. I have a little girl in my class this year who won't eat because she thinks she is fat.

On the other extreme I have a different girl who is 4 feet tall and weighs 125 pounds and has trouble playing at recess because she is so heavy.

That is very sad and scary, especially since they are both only six years old!

So today I saw something that really made me mad. I was driving home from work and someone had a bumper sticker that said..."Doing my best to piss off the religious right." Well why? So the school year is almost over and I was doing my lesson plans for the rest of the year and even though I have pretty much hit everything they need to know I can't help but be afraid that there is so much stuff I haven't taught them yet!!!! The year went by way too fast!

So I am on spring break so I am overall pleased with life! Breaks are the best! I am especially happy that my break falls on the first week of baseball season! I plan on watching all of the games minus the ones that Tucson is too stupid to show on tv ( Read more... )

So I have been having a really grand and wonderful time in my life lately except my rude sister!!! So I've had a cough for a long ass time now and for the past few days there has been something wrong in my chest area...I either pulled a muscle or cracked a rib...most likely pulled a muscle and it was pretty bad this weekend but then it was getting better the past few days and then I woke up this morning because the pain was AWFUL. Everyone has been posting about the end of the semester and I felt left out so I thought I should too! My semseter doesn't end until Tuesday but I will be happy when it does.
