Tea Time in Egypt

Sep 01, 2007 16:08

Rose Tyler was drinking tea and eating biscuits during tea time, which, on the whole of things wasn’t that ridiculously outrageous, other than the fact that they were also in the middle of the desert.

In Egypt.

Any buildings that might have given her a vague awareness of when or where in the country they had landed had either ( Read more... )

LOLZ, I AM A CRAPPY WRITER AND THIS IS MY CRAPPY FIC

Erm...I'm sorry to have to tell you this. But the previous statement is completely erroneous. Hasn't a bit of factual truth to it.

In fact, you're a good writer and this is lovely fic.

Rose is very in character and her thoughts kept me amused.

The Doctor stalking Rose for some snoggage is brill.

Great response!

*giggles*

When the Doctor had finally moved away, she had frankly, not noticed. And she would have continued this daze of ultimate confusion and turmoil had the man on top of her gotten sick of waiting and promptly licked her nose.
She immediately clapped a hand over the damp surface of skin and wiped it off, throwing him a look of disgust. “What was that for?”
“I was bored.” He admitted casually, his shoulders shrugging up in a carefree way.
She wrinkled her nose at him. “You’re disgusting.”
“On the contrary, I’m extremely handsome and irresistibly charming.” He grinned as Rose rolled her eyes skeptically. “And apparently I am such a great kisser that one is rendered immobile for in indefinite amount of time after it.”

*giggles again*

(i concur with ladyyueh, you are most defiantly not a crappy writer)

*tips hat* I'm glad you liked it.

My favorite part is the whole line about Rose throwing cups at his head to test out his thickness, but then again, that's just about the only thing I like. X)

Still, thanks for thine kind words!

If I was in a religious town way back in the 1600s, I would be hanged for my lies, surely.

i second the 'lied'
there were a couple of missed typos, but they didn't affect the story so much, just made me cringe, but then be distracted by the writing and the story. wonderful effort. you should write more.

and don't say you're bad. we just said you're not. no more wallowing.

I write plenty. I just never post them.

In response to my typo problem, the end of it, I was just dead sick of looking at the damn thing so I just posted it to get it away from me, several new additions had been made a few minutes prior and I might have missed them.

And another thing, according to my Microsoft Word, I have no mistakes (other than grammatical), but I'm also using the U.K language on it, so maybe that's it. They spell realize "realise" and such. So *shrug* it's not my fault.

Also, I would recommend putting some capitalisation and stuff in your posts if you're going to talk to me about typos.

Thanks for the compliments anyway. I know I sounded really mean there, I probably drove you away now. XD

Well yeah, remind me not to try to be nice to someone who thinks their work sucks. I don't always like to use capitals in a simple comment to tell someone their story was actually good, but whatever.
I am also not from the UK

X( See that's the problem about being me. I have an innate urge to point out these things and then people hate me.

*shrug*

i'm in the boat with the people against your lies.
.. that sentence makes little or no sense.
i thought that was really good! haha. especially the bit where the doctor licks her nose, simply because he's bored.

Ah, but a little or no sense still leaves the option of a little.

I'm glad you liked it. ^_^
