So the last week has been pretty eventful. So again I returned to the Great Wall of China. This was my fourth time there, and it made me feel super old when I found out that I can say "I remember my first time, fourteen years ago". So this Monday, as I have said before, was a day off for me. Tomb sweeping day! Anyway, I heard that many people fly kites in Tiananmen square on this day, and I headed over to check it out. So in my last post, it was drizzling and depressing outside. Today I raised my head from my little hole a sniffed the air. Is it possible that spring has finally sprung? So I have returned from Sichuan! It was such a relaxing break, it was a nice change from Yunnan. So on Sunday, as you know, we took a 25 hour train ride down to Chongqing, which actually is not in the Sichuan province, but it’s quite close and a while back was the same province. When we got up to leave on day 13 of our trip, we were happy to get out of there, although some were grumpy because they were unable to shower. I tried to take a shower, but it was pretty miserable so I made it quick. We were driven to another large hotel in order to eat breakfast.
